Connect your chatbot to WhatsApp to quickly reply to customer messages, respond to order tracking questions, make personalized product recommendations, and answer customer FAQs in WhatsApp. This article will walk you through the steps to configure the Heyday chatbot to send and receive messages through WhatsApp.

Before you begin
In order to connect WhatsApp to Inbox 2.0, you must have a verified business account and administrator access in Meta Business Manager. If you need to create a business account or verify your business account, see the following Meta help articles:

Prepare to connect your Heyday bot to WhatsApp
Set Heyday up to send and receive messages from WhatsApp.
- Create a WhatsApp Business Platform account in Meta Business manager.
- If your phone number is connected to a personal WhatsApp account or the SMB WhatsApp business app, you'll need to disconnect that phone number from that app before connecting it here. You'll be asked to verify your account and it may take up to 3 minutes for the disconnected account to become available. See the Meta help Migrate an Existing WhatsApp Number to a Business Account.
- Connect your business phone number to your WhatsApp account.
- Provide your Heyday customer account manager with the following information:
- Meta business ID - See the Meta help article Find your business ID in Meta Business Manager.
- Business details - Include your business name, a brief description of your business (max 256 characters), and your business address. If you have multiple stores, use the address of the headquarters or main store.
- Brand logo - Logo must be square, have a minimum size of 500px x 500px (recommended size - 640px x 640px), and be no more than 5 MB. The logo can be provided as a URL or sent as a file.
- Business email address - An email address for your business.
- Your Heyday customer account manager will let you know when your connection is complete.
